Four Indicted in Frankfurt for Selling Drugs on the Darkweb

The Attorney General in Frankfurt has charged four men for alleged drug trafficking in the darkweb.

According to the indictment, from December 2017 to August 2018, the group allegedly offered cocaine, amphetamines, methamphetamine, LSD, as well as hashish and marijuana on an illegal trading platform in the hidden part of the internet. They had a total of nearly 170 sales.

The four men were arrested last August after covert investigations by the Central Office for the Suppression of Cybercrime (ZIT) of the Attorney General in Frankfurt and the Hessian State Criminal Police Office. They have been in custody since the arrest. In addition to drug trafficking, they are said to have offered a number of fake 500 Euro notes of “relatively good quality” on the darkweb. One of the men is said to have imported more than eight kilograms of marijuana from Spain.
