Dealer Sentenced for Reselling MDMA, LSD, and Psilocybin

United States District Court Judge C.J. Williams sentenced an Iowa man to more than six years in prison for reselling drugs purchased on the darkweb.

Jack Arthur Stumberg of Grundy Center, Iowa, pleaded guilty to one count of conspiring to distribute controlled substances and one count of possessing with intent to distribute controlled substances in December 2019.

A two-count indictment filed in August 2019 accused Stumberg and an accomplice of conspiring to distribute MDMA, LSD, and Psilocybin. In addition to the distribution conspiracy, the indictment charged Stumberg with possession of MDMA and LSD with the intent to distribute.

According to court documents, Postal Inspectors with the United States Postal Inspection Service intercepted a suspicious package addressed to Stumberg’s residence and one addressed to his accomplice’s home in March 2019. Instead of waiting on a search warrant, investigators obtained probable cause after a “trained K-9” hit on the packages. Postal Inspectors found 15 cannabis oil vape cartridges in both packages.

Law enforcement received tips about Stumberg as early as 2018, according to court documents. Investigators pointed to a Snapchat post from Stumberg that advertised Xanax in both liquid and blotter form.

Investigators executed a search warrant at Stumberg’s residence where they seized ecstasy and an assortment of drug-related items. The police arrested Stumberg and his accomplice in September 2019. During the execution of a search warrant at Stumberg’s home, investigators recovered evidence that linked Stumberg to darkweb drug purchases. Evidence indicated that Stumberg had ordered large quantities of drugs on the darkweb between 2016 and 2019. He later admitted to distributing the same drugs throughout Iowa.

On July 21, 2020, Judge Williams sentenced Stumberg to 78 months in federal prison. The sentence included five years of supervised release after Stunberg serves his prison time.

2 packs with a total of 30 cannabis vape carts, was that what actually led them to this arrest? That doesn’t seem like much…Lately I’ve been reading more and more stories of buyers getting arrested, it used to be mostly just vendors.

When are people going to learn to get the fuck off social media.. he didn’t get caught because of the package. He got busted because he was posting on Snapchat and probably Facebook and local LE caught wind and started to piece how he was getting dealer amounts of product. LE then notified the postal inspector and put his mail on a watch list. Buyers/IRL resellers getting caught have one thing in common, Snapchat/Facebook posts.

okay…someone name (become no links allows) the name of a buyer who has been arrested for sole consumption use only and has ZERO evidence of sales because none of taken place….dude they want the people reselling….IO dom=nt know anything about the person sending even shit…how could a low level buyer even begin to help!

This whoel thing is an obvious risk…but if they sniff you out…and you ARE reselling….you WILL get arrested. But if you are buying small amounts because youir addicted like me….fucking useless waste of time and I canrt even begin to help them in any capacity….Ive never once seen an article about a buyer who WAS NORT RESELLING.

Every buyer I have seen arrested on this news website has been some low life scumbag reselling pressed xanax like a fuckhead. People with money who just want personal items…yeah I think thats a pretty MASSIVE waste of time and gets them nothing.

So, what are you?

Customer A) you buy for personal use only - you have no legal equity like nothing there worth the amount of effort

OR

Customer B) which is fine, but done fucking bitch when you get arrested for reselling. It is so simple.

Again, this is all illegal hahaha but come on, buying 15 real xanax bars? show me an article where someone wasnt selling already / didnt have fire arms (always multiple including usually a high capacity rifle)….tell me the name of this article please?

The reason small time buyers don’t get noted on news sites like this is because they don’t make the news. Small time buyers 100% do get arrested for buying drugs on the dark web. One example is fentanyl. If you order fentanyl it doesn’t matter how much you order. Any amount is worth their time because of the perceived threat of this drug. It really comes down to amounts. What is personal use for one could be considered enough to raid for a cop. For instance anything from 4g to 2oz of coca one is the same charge in many US states. I consider a quarter of cocaine personal use and yet it is a fairly heavy charge and people have gotten a CD for less. Also in the US any amount sent to a university can get you a CD. I’ve read of someone getting a CD for a QP of weed. A misdemeanor in most states although it was probably a felony at the time. Buyers Who Resell!, you strick me as a drug addict because you seem to believe you are completely safe from any sort of legal trouble. I urge all readers to understand that there are risks associated with this activity. One thing is they can come talk to you for any amount even if it’s not worth a CD. One should be prepared and aware of this. Another example is if they catch more than one package of illegal drugs they may come talk to you. It also has a lot to do with where you live and how bored the cops are. There are many areas in the US that would raid you for even small amounts. Also, there are some countries...
