Four Arrested in Austria for Reselling Drugs From the Darkweb
Austrian police succeeded in breaking up a group of drug dealers who purchased drugs on the darkweb and resold the products locally.
Police arrested four people in Styria, Austria, who allegedly procured drugs on the darkweb and sold the drugs locally for a significant profit. The suspects, three men and a woman, reportedly earned tens of thousands of euros through their drug trafficking operation.
Investigators have evidence connecting the suspects to drug deals as far back as April 2021. Police believe the group sold four and a half kilograms of amphetamine and smaller quantities of cocaine, marijuana, ecstasy, and methamphetamine.
Police seized drugs worth at least 10,000 euros while searching property associated with the suspects.
Some of the suspects admitted to selling drugs during an interview with police.
