Investigators found that the defendant had divided the amphetamine into small packages and stored it in his freezer.
During questioning, the defendant admitted ordering a kilogram of amphetamine from an undisclosed darkweb marketplace on March 5, 2021. He paid approximately $870 in Bitcoin for the amphetamine. Investigators also established that the defendant had purchased a similar amount of amphetamine from the darkweb in November 2020.
