Prolific Darkweb Vendor g00d00 Busted by Italian Police

Italian law enforcement arrested the darkweb vendor g00d00 for selling an assortment of illegal drugs, including cocaine, ketamine, MDMA, LSD, and ecstasy pills. Investigators reportedly launched the investigation after analyzing darkweb vendors located in Italy.

G00d00 Investigation and Arrest

The Guardia di Finanza of Rome’s NSPFT branch, under the framework of the so-called “Darknet.Drug” operation, conducted a “sophisticated technical investigation” of darkweb markets and identified vendors shipping from or operating out of Italy.

One of the vendors they identified during their investigation was a prolific vendor who sold on Alphabay, Hansa, Silk Road, Italian Darknet Community Reloaded, Italian Deep Web, Valhalla, and other marketplaces and forums. Across all platforms, the vendor operated under the username g00d00 or variations of the same name. According to one Italian media outlet, g00d00 was among the “fathers of the IDW market.”

G00d00’s profile on Dream Market reveals the following:

I have been selling on many markets, starting on Italian Deep Web(g00d00), Aplhabay(g00d00team) and many more smaller ones, building up more then 5000+ successful sales with a 99% client satisfaction. At this moment my shops are available on Alphabay(g00d00team), SilkRoad(g00d00), Valhalla(g00d00), Dream market(g00d00) and Hansa market(g00d00).

During the raid at g00d00’s house in Barletta, Italy, the police found a total of 2.3 kilograms of drugs.

They also seized laptops and smartphones “used for browsing the dark web.” Forensic analysis of the seized devices is currently underway.
