I second that! I’m actually from the U.S., and I sincerely hope this man’s family’s legal ploy is successful in preventing his extradition here. He’s a South Korean, dammit. Why can’t we leave him to the laws of his own country? I have absolutely no clue why my country has taken to trying to pretend as if its laws and jurisdiction extends across the entire globe, but this type of arrogance absolutely must end, and until it does I wish every instance of it that is attempted to fail miserably. Also - people - please think a little bit for yourself and realize that the general attitude and approach to child porn in the year 2020 has gotten more than a little out of hand. for consenting adults, sex !=torture. an adult who had sex non consensually (rape or sexual assault) will tell u a different story. humans have collectively decided that children are unable to fully comprehend their actions, and the inherent power differential between adults and children makes things like coercion thru intimidation, promises of favors, and “this for that” deals extremely likely. ur opinion about victims of sexual abuse being “the type of people who have a lot of mental problems regardless” leads me to believe that maybe u have some mental problems urself. also, you feel worse for people who failed at life with no discernible reason (generally these people are called losers) than victims of traumatic experiences
